The new tokens dubbed Private Access Tokens (PATs) will eliminate the need for CAPTCHA across the web. For the unversed, a CAPTCHA (Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart) is a type of security measure known as challenge-response authentication used in computing to determine whether the user is human. PATs provide several benefits, for instance, mobile web experience will be more pleasant and more private than other networks simultaneously for internet users.
Disclosed by security company UpGuard, the multiple data leaks unintentionally exposed a total of 38 million records, which included personal information used for COVID-19 contact tracing, COVID-19 vaccination appointments, social security numbers for job applicants, employee IDs, and millions of names and email addresses. The companies affected by the breach include governmental bodies like Indiana, Maryland, and New York City, and private companies like American Airlines, J.B. Hunt, and Microsoft.

The hackers have now released NSFW images and videos of WWE Diva Kaitlyn and page 3 models like Lacey Banghard, Lauren Cohan, and Holly Willoughby. The Fappening 2.0, or Celebgate 2.0, started with private photos of Emma Watson and Amanda Seyfried circulating on the “dark web” and then 4chan last week before the images made it to Reddit.
The CNIL (Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés) said that following investigations on websites facebook.com, google.fr, and youtube.com, they found that these sites offer a button allowing the user to immediately accept cookies. However, they do not provide an equivalent solution (button or other) that allows the Internet user to easily refuse the deposit of these cookies. In fact, the user is required to click several times to refuse all cookies, as opposed to a single click to accept them.
The settlement, which was led by Oregon Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum and Nebraska AG Doug Peterson, is the largest attorney general-led consumer privacy settlement ever in the U.S., states the announcement published by DoJ.
